Mukesh Madhwani—Spreading Smiles All Across!
Mukesh Madhwani is not just a name—he’s a mission in motion. A man with vision, purpose, and an unshakable love for his hometown, Udaipur, Mukesh has dedicated his life to creating positive change. Whether it's bringing global attention to the Lake City, uplifting underprivileged communities, or planting seeds of opportunity for the youth, he is consistently leading from the front.
Born and brought up in Udaipur, Mukesh has always believed that this culturally rich and visually stunning city deserves recognition beyond tourism. His biggest dream? To establish a Film City in Udaipur—a move that, he believes, would put the city on the global map of film production. Bollywood, Hollywood, South Indian films, web series, and ad shoots—Mukesh envisions Udaipur becoming a go-to destination for all.
What makes this dream even more inspiring is his clearly defined mission behind it. Mukesh doesn’t just want cameras to roll in the city—he wants lives to change. With Film City, he aims to generate employment, boost local businesses, and offer a sustainable source of income for countless people. From makeup artists to sound engineers, local artisans to transport providers, his idea promises a ripple effect of prosperity.
And this isn’t just a far-fetched vision—it’s already in motion. Thanks to Mukesh’s persistent efforts and coordination with film crews and production houses, Udaipur has already become a favourite shooting location. Hundreds of Bollywood, Hollywood, Rajasthani, and South Indian films and television serials have been shot here, turning his efforts into tangible results.
But while Mukesh dreams of lights, camera, and action, he is deeply rooted in reality.
His compassion for the less fortunate drives another side of his personality—his dedication to social welfare. Through his NGO, Being Manav, he has impacted hundreds of lives. From distributing food, clothes, and books to underprivileged children to helping families in need with basic essentials, Mukesh is a constant force of kindness and empathy.
What makes his work even more powerful is that he doesn’t believe in seasonal charity. His efforts are consistent and deeply personal, making sure no one is left behind. For him, every smile counts. Every full stomach matters. And every child who gets a book, a blanket, or a school uniform is a life bettered.
In a world where many dream for themselves, Mukesh Madhwani dreams for his city, for his people, and for the future. His energy is infectious, his intentions are noble, and his actions speak volumes. Whether it's setting a path for the youth or standing by the less fortunate, Mukesh is walking the talk—every single day.
Udaipur is known as the City of Lakes, of palaces and traditions—but thanks to changemakers like Mukesh Madhwani, it is also becoming a city of hope, opportunity, and transformation.
Because when one man chooses to spread smiles, it’s not just a moment—it’s a movement.
Mukesh Madhwani – A Visionary Carving Udaipur’s Future with Grit and Grace
Mukesh Madhwani is not just a man of ambition—he is a visionary leader with an extraordinary sense of business, an unshakable drive, and an innate passion for his city. Known for setting new benchmarks even before achieving the previous ones, Mukesh is admired for his sharp business acumen and exceptional management skills that have time and again transformed ideas into impactful realities.
Hailing from Udaipur, Mukesh is the eldest of three brothers. He inherited his values of humility, generosity, and discipline from his father, Mr. Ashok Madhwani and mother, Mrs. Madhu Madhwani, both of whom are admired for their simplicity and ethical lifestyle. Mukesh completed his early education in Udaipur and went on to pursue a degree in Food and Beverages from the prestigious Food Craft Institute, Udaipur. But life had bigger plans for him.
After completing his studies, Mukesh joined his father’s bakery business, where his instincts for innovation and entrepreneurship quickly came to the fore. His leadership and forward-thinking approach led to new expansions. It was in the year 2000 that the Madhwani family established Ashoka Catering, a venture that gained prominence by serving food on the sets of numerous film shoots in Udaipur. This proved to be a game-changer.
While managing the catering services for film crews, Mukesh developed a keen understanding of the film production world. The idea of making Udaipur a hub for film production took root, and destiny played its part when, with the help of his friend Anil Mehta, Mukesh secured permission for the shooting of the Hollywood film ‘The Fall’ in Udaipur. This was a pivotal moment that led Mukesh to step into the world of film production as a local assistant manager.
This experience deepened his vision: Udaipur deserved its own Film City. In 2010, with courage and commitment, he formed a team and began advocating the idea with renewed energy. Despite the many challenges, Mukesh stayed relentless. After years of campaigning, discussions, and collaboration with authorities, his efforts bore fruit when the project received a green signal from local bodies to initiate the plan of setting up a Film City in Udaipur.
Mukesh’s campaign gained momentum with support from tourism experts, Rajasthan’s royal families, Bollywood and TV celebrities, and local government bodies. The idea was clear: Udaipur’s natural grandeur, heritage monuments, cultural depth, and connectivity make it an ideal filming destination. In fact, over the past four decades, Udaipur has hosted more than 500 films and numerous TV serials, and the proposed Film City would only amplify these numbers, bringing job opportunities, tourism, and business growth to the region.
To further his goals, Mukesh founded M Square Productions and Events in 2017. Today, it is one of the most active event management firms, handling large-scale productions and events across the country. Be it film shoots, music events, corporate shows, or cultural gatherings—M Square has carved its niche with creativity and professionalism.
Yet, amid all his achievements, Mukesh never forgets his social responsibilities. He remains deeply involved in humanitarian efforts and ensures his time and resources are used for public welfare. Through initiatives like his NGO, Being Manav, he extends support to underprivileged children and families, offering food, clothing, educational support, and emotional care.
In every sense, Mukesh Madhwani stands as a role model—a man who blends ambition with compassion, business with ethics, and dreams with action. His journey is a living testament to what relentless vision and hard work can achieve—not just for oneself, but for an entire city.
Being MANAV – A Movement of Humanity by Mukesh Madhwani
In a world driven by ambition and material pursuits, individuals like Mukesh Madhwani stand out not only for their professional achievements but for their deeply rooted compassion for humanity. Known for his impactful initiatives across social and industrial domains in Udaipur, one of his most heartfelt and inspiring ventures remains Being MANAV—a campaign that truly reflects the spirit of giving and human connection.
‘Being MANAV’ is not just a campaign; it is a movement of humanity. Conceptualised by Mukesh and initiated by his team at M Square in May 2019, the initiative focuses on uplifting the underprivileged sections of society through the most meaningful, yet simplest, act—sharing what we don’t need. The campaign began by encouraging citizens to donate unused household items and clothes at designated collection points. The M Square team then refurbishes these items and redistributes them to those in need.
What started as a small local initiative has now grown into a well-structured system of aid and care. So far, NGO BEING MANAV has successfully refurbished and distributed over 40,000 items of clothing and directly supported more than 3,500 underprivileged individuals, bringing comfort, hope, and dignity to countless families.
Adding further depth to this initiative is the unique campaign titled ‘Khushiyo Ki Gaadi’ (The Cart of Happiness). Under this thoughtful project, the Being MANAV team invites citizens passing by Ashoka Bakery Corner—a well-known spot in Udaipur—to place a bag of clothes or reusable household items in a collection vehicle between 1 PM and 2 PM daily. These contributions are then sorted, cleaned, and delivered to those who need them the most. It’s a small window of time that opens a door to joy for many.
This beautifully simple yet powerful idea has been embraced by the community. Mukesh believes that charity is not always about grand gestures—it is about consistency, intention, and empathy. With Being MANAV, he has turned what many might see as 'waste' into a source of hope and happiness for others.
Beyond his philanthropic efforts, Mukesh continues to make waves in Udaipur’s business and cultural scene. His leadership and vision have earned him the role of Convener of the Udaipur Chapter of FORTI (Federation of Rajasthan Trade and Industries)—a recognition of his dedication to fostering entrepreneurship and trade in the region. He also remains passionately involved in turning Udaipur into a Film City, attracting Bollywood, Hollywood, and regional cinema to shoot in the scenic landscapes of Lake City. His efforts have not gone unnoticed—he has been honoured by multiple organisations for his relentless contributions to both the cultural and humanitarian growth of Udaipur.
Despite his packed schedule balancing business, social causes, and visionary projects, Mukesh always makes time for what matters most—his family. He shares a strong bond with his wife Mala and his two children, Manav and Yamini. In fact, the name NGO BEING MANAV is a touching nod to his son, reflecting how deeply personal this mission is to him.
In every aspect of his life—whether it is business, community service, or personal relationships—Mukesh Madhwani is a man on a mission to spread smiles, shoo away poverty, and bring prosperity to all. He is a true gem in the crown of Udaipur, leading not just with words, but with heart and action.
